The Challenge

A leading energy and telecommunications services provider offering a complete suite of utility services, from directional drilling, to asphalt paving, to ground engineering was challenged with the seasonal nature of the business having contractors on-boarded and off-boarded at the start and end of winter. They required an automated solution to replace their highly manual new hire process. They sought to digitize and automate the process to reduce time and cost per hire while meeting on-boarding task demand with existing staff.

The Solution

Rockhop designed and built a new employee on-boarding solution using Microsoft Power Automate, Power Apps, and Dataverse back-end. The solution integrated a number of 3rd party technologies including PayChex, Acurate and Adobe. From ordering business cards to a warm welcome email, the entire process was streamlined and automated.
