Ad-hoc project data capture, prioritization, and communications meant time spent collating, confirming and entering data into the existing project time keeping system. The process was manual, inconsistent and wrought with errors.

The Solution

Using Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate and Dataverse tables, Rockhop built an automated project creation and management solution that seamlessly tied into the existing project management system, Harvest. The solution leverages a data flow connector to an Azure Analysis Services Tabular Model to provide data, and the OOB connector for Harvest was used to automate the project for updating project data.

The Results

Reporting - Consistent project data that allows for deeper analytics on trends within the business.

Cost Reduction - Automation of project setup and changes in the time keeping system, Harvest, reduced data entry hours by more than 40/month.

Visibility - Standard interface and data format enable project managers to reduce errors and quickly create/update projects.
